Mekong Delta Explore Nature Homestay 2-Day Community Trip

Why SHOULD you join US? Connecting with local households, guests have the opportunity to converse, share stories, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture of the Mekong Delta. 

You will taste specialty fruits such as dragon fruit, grapefruit, guava, and mango (seasonal). The tour guide explains the process of growing and caring for natural fruits. You can also enjoy traditional meals prepared with fresh ingredients, experience cooking, fishing or rice planting. 

Last but not least you will spend an hour TALKING with disadvantaged children in the local area. 

Pick-up: Hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 1: HCMC – MEKONG DELTA LONG AN

7:40–8:00: Pick-up; introduction to Mekong Delta culture & itinerary.

9:30: Check in at Family Tiny Garden Homestay.

9:50: Cycling through the countryside; visit rice fields and Xom Trau Pagoda with Underground Tunnel relics.

11:30: Cooking class (spring rolls, bánh xèo) & lunch.

14:30: Motorboat trip to fruit orchards (lemon, guava, dragon fruit).

15:20: Kayaking in the coconut-water forest.

17:20–18:30: English-sharing session with local disadvantaged children.

19:00: BBQ dinner, relaxation, karaoke; overnight at homestay.

DAY 2: COUNTRYSIDE EXPERIENCE

5:30: Sunrise bicycle tour; visit local market, enjoy coffee & breakfast.

Extra activities: Rice planting & fish catching.

11:30: Lunch.

12:30: Check out.

13:00: Transfer back to HCMC.

14:30: End of tour.
