Detailed Schedule
7:40 - 7:50 AM: Pick Up Guests at the Hotel
The car picks up guests at central hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and departs for Ben Luc, Long An, Mekong Delta Vietnam.
On the way, the tour guide will share about the cultural, historical, and ecological life of the 13 provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta and introduce the main activities in the program.
9:00 AM: At Family Tiny Garden Visitors are welcomed at Family Tiny Garden with refreshing cold coconut drinks.
Program for Traditional Rice Planting and Pond Fishing Experience (1 hour)
Objective: This program offers tourists the opportunity to experience a unique aspect of Vietnamese culture by personally catching fish in the Mekong Delta and planting rice - a traditional practice of the people in the Mekong Delta.
Activity: Tourists and local farmers begin their journey of catching fish in the canals using traditional tools and participating in wet rice cultivation.
The tour guide and farmers will explain in detail the methods of natural fishing and rice planting that have been intertwined with the lives of the people in the Mekong Delta for many generations.
Introduction to the importance of the wet rice cultivation and sustainable fishing methods, and the role of these activities in the local ecosystem and the culture of the Mekong Delta.
Learning To Make Steamed Rice Rolls (1.5 hours)
Objective: This program offers tourists the opportunity to experience a unique aspect of Vietnamese culture by making bánh cuốn – a famous traditional dish from the Mekong Delta. The program also combines educational and culinary elements with activities to interact with local residents.
Activity: The tour guide briefly introduces the history and process of making bánh cuốn, the importance of this dish in Vietnamese culture, especially in the Mekong Delta region. Present the necessary tools and ingredients for making rice paper, such as soaked rice, water, and some traditional spices.
Enjoying cakes and various dishes for lunch (45 minutes)
Afternoon: Cycling around the village – Kayaking – Participating in litter picking along the way and enjoying fruits in the garden
Community Connection: A program that creates opportunities for interaction between tourists and local residents, contributing to the promotion of cultural connections.
Tourists will participate in a relaxing bike ride around the village to admire the rural scenery and feel the peaceful pace of life.
Visiting the Xóm Trầu tunnels, learning about important historical events of the locality during the period of resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism.
On the journey of participating in litter picking along the way, tourists have the opportunity to visit local families, learn about traditional culture, and the lives of the people in Ben Luc, Long An, Mekong Delta.
Kayak paddling feels peaceful in the mangrove forest, blending into nature.
Cultural aspect: Connecting with local households, guests have the opportunity to converse, share stories, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture of the Mekong Delta. Enjoying specialty fruits such as dragon fruit, grapefruit, guava, and mango (seasonal).
The tour guide explains the process of growing and caring for natural fruits, contributing to the sustainable economic development of the rural people.
Before concluding, tourists receive a souvenir, a handcrafted product made by skilled hands, to take home as a gift. End of the Trip and Return to Ho Chi Minh City
Farewell to Family Tiny Garden, the car will take the guests back to Ho Chi Minh City.
At the end of the program, guests will receive a small souvenir as a token of appreciation for participating in the program, which contributes to supporting local children's education.

(A percentage of the tour profits will be allocated 5% to the Tiny & Sergej fund, founded by two friends from Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany, to support local children in need.)
